I bought these goggles which came with 2 lenses, then I bought 2 more spare lenses because I wanted to try out some other colors because I could get them for $22 each instead of the normal $40 or $50. I also bought 2 more spare lenses for my other smith goggles for $12 each instead of the normal $30, and 2 clear lenses for $2.80 each. Total for the frames and 8 lenses shipped was $160. Thank you snowbird.

Just sold my nook that I bought off of ksl back in august for $115. Brand new they sell for $200, but for some reason the person that sold it to me thought that they had the $150 version. So I put my ad up for $150, and the person that bought it didn't try to talk me down at all. So, I got 6 months use out of it, and a $35 profit. Good investment.

Just hiked all the way to the out of boundary sign on the west side of the resort, then while I was relaxing, some guys came up that were going past the sign. I ended up going with them. It was by far the best run I have ever taken on a snowboard. I had face shots on every turn going down the entire hill.

This is the view from the hill right above the bountiful temple at about 2a.m. I went snow shoeing with robert up holbrook canyon and we tried to shorten the full loop, but accidentally went too far, so we were on the mountain for about 5 hours, until 3a.m. It was fun, but very exhausting.

Adam and I made some survival bracelets today. They are made of paracord, which costs $0.07 per foot from the army navy surplus store. I made my latch using a clevis hook that I had laying around. Adam just used a knot tied on the end that you slip through a hole on the other side. My bracelet consists of about 16 feet of paracord, and the idea is that when you are in an emergency, you have some strong rope that you can use to make stuff. And in my case I also have a clevis hook that looks pretty strong and should be pretty handy in an emergency.

New water pump installed. Wasn't actually to bad, except for pulling the crank shaft pulley off that was held on by a nut torqued down to 160 ft-lb (factory spec)

Finally made it to the junk yard to get a new washer fluid pump. My old battery spilled acid on mine and ate it away. That was about a year ago. So it should be nice to finally have fluid again

It's hard to see, but I sewed fleece onto the bottom of my klim balaclava to provide better coverage of my neck that is exposed around the collar. That way when I roll down the snowboard hill, and snow goes down my jacket, it doesn't touch any skin.

Went up and stayed at Jason's In-Law's cabin/house in midway this weekend. Went snowmobiling friday, and saturday. This was taken on saturday at wolf creek. Harry, Ethan, and I decided to sit by the fire for a few hours while every one else messed around on the snomobiles. All of the live pine needles on the fire are what we used to sit on. If you cover the ground with a nice layer of pine needles, it acts as a nice layer of insulation to keep your body a little warmer.

My new smith goggles, intake model, comes with nose mask, $22. They came with yellow lenses and I bought the lenses that you sere in the picture for $12.

The helmet is the holt audio model. It has skull candy headphones built in, $40. I got about 60% off everything using my snowbird discount.

Got a new backpack so that I can actually carry my camera with me when I snowmobile now. It is amazing. And I found out when I pulled it out of the shipping box today that it is covered by a lifetime warranty that will fix any damage no matter how the damage was done. No questions asked. If it is not fixable, they will replace it for free. The brand is osprey.

Just picked up a set if goodyear duratrac's. I managed to talk discount tire down from $191 per tire to $176 per tire. Too bad I don't have any rims to mount then on... I found out that the backspacing of the rims I painted a few weeks ago will not work.

After going to the black diamond store and trying on various gloves, I decided I wanted the black prodigy gloves in a medium, which of course they didn't have in stock, neither did rei, or kirkhams, but wasatch touring did (i called all of them while at black diamond store). So I decided to drive there. I headed west on 3900 south and as you approach highland drive, there is a little hill that caused me and the car on the right side is me to both not be able to stop. The car next to me stopped about 3 or 4 inches away from t boning a car, and some how I slipped through the gap between him and cars coming from 3 other directions and made the right turn. The light was red for me by the way. But I made the journey and got my gloves.

I used a desk the other day that had one of those black mats that you can buy to put under your keyboard and mouse and it takes the place of your mouse pad. I loved it and wanted to get one, but none of the ones available were the right size, so i would have to cut it down, after paying $30+ for it. I decided to go to the fabric store and buy some vinyl and custom fit it to the shape of the desk. It took about ten minutes and turned out very nice. The vinyl has this thin rubberish layer on the back, so I just layed it down and it sits pretty sturdy. Total cost = $12.

Last ride of last season I ride across some dirt and accumulated quite a few scratches.

Today I got a razor blade and smoothed out all of the parts of the board that were sticking up as much as I could. Then I layed down a nice layer of wax. It turned out really nice. 100x smoother than it was before.

My dad brought this sweet thing home from work today and gave it to me because he had no use for it. It has 6 usb inputs. A 3.5mm headphone input and a 3.5mm speaker output, a 3.5mm microphone input, optical audio output, vga monitor output, dvi monitor output, and one ethernet port. All of these ports are accessible through plugging the box into my computer using one usb. So now I can leave both external hard drives, my speaker hook up, monitor hookup, and network hookup all connected then when I bring my laptop home I simply connect one usb, and bam! It's all ready to use. Amazing.

Finally pulled my parking brake out to replace the cable that I broke about 10-11 months ago. My original fix that I planned on doing, I found out isn't going to work. So I'm running to get done parts now to try a new idea. Parts will be about $2, vs. the $50 that it costs to just go buy a new cable online.

Finished making this knife just barely. I started it about 6 years ago when I was in teachers quorum, all I did back then was draw up a design and pick what part of an antler I wanted to use. Then about 3 or so years later I went down with the guy who was my leader when we started the project and I got started on actually making the handle. Then it say about three more years until now. It turned out really nicely though.

Had a good short trip to st. anthony dunes this weekend. We were there from friday to sunday. We didn't bring any fire wood, but happened to find a nice stack of wood to burn at our camp site. I forgot my boots, but luckily our friend roger from cache valley came up later friday night and was able to bring me up his work boots to wear.

Roger came with a new top end in his motor, harry came with basically a completely new motor, and I had my new tire. They all performed great. So it was a trip full of new stuff, including my experimental cookie in tin foil cooked on the bbq. I topped it off with an ice cream bar to make a nice fazookie. It ended a day full of riding quite nicely.

Got home from the fair to find out this arrived while I was enjoying the artwork. It is a custom made paddle tire for my dirt bike made by Skat Trak with 7 viper paddles. The tire is very lightweight, therefore, making me fast.

So these straps are designed to go on the back of the bike, bolted on to the bolts in the back of the seat. But because this bike is so tall, and me being not so strong, I decided I wanted the straps to sit in a lower location on the bike as to have more leverage. I ordered this strap in hopes that it would work where I wanted it, but if not it would work in the designed location. Turns out it works great where I wanted it, so I'm going to go ahead and order another one tomorrow to put on the other side of the bike.

I rode my motorcycle up to park city today so that I could replace some headphones on warranty that I have had at my house for about a year and a half now. Then on the way home I decided to go up lambs canyon. It was really fun until I found out that it ends pretty quickly with this gate.
