First dunes of the year

I forgot to post this on my blog. I went down to Moab to do some wheeling in my truck from the 11th to the 14th. This picture was taken on the "Poison Spider" trail. Starting with the closest truck: My truck, Chris's Truck, Ethan's Truck, Sean's 4runner, and Jon's truck. Zeek's truck is back at camp, because he blew up his front differential the day before, when i wasn't there yet. After poison spider, we went on cliff hanger with Brak, Josh, Jon, and Christian in their land cruisers. We got a good way through the trail, but turned around because Brak's cruiser started leaking brake fluid. That night me and Ethan went in his truck and met 3 tacoma's and a 4runner that we talk to on TTORA online forum. They are all from the ogden to provo area, 2 of their trucks were pretty cool. We just did Fin's and Things, it was a pretty easy trail, but it was fun because we were just messing around on it.
The Next day we did "Metal Masher" and i rode in Jon's tacoma because I wasn't really feeling like driving. We had all the cruisers on the trail with us too, except Josh's, but Josh's dad brought his Range Rover on the trail. We had 8 vehicles i think on Metal Masher. Brak blew his front Birfield (axle shaft) on the passenger side, near the end of the trail. He thought it was the drivers side at first, so we spent about an hour and a half taking apart the whole side to find out it was fine, then putting it back together. Then ended up taking apart the other side. A storm ended up hitting camp before we were back, and blew over 3 of our 4 tents, mine and Jon's tent was the only one that stayed standing. Everyone else's tents got water inside, so Ethan and Zeek ended up getting a hotel for saturday night, and everyone else went and slept in the condo that Brak was in. The trip was pretty relaxed, it was very nice, other than all the tent troubles.
