Custom Desk Mat

I used a desk the other day that had one of those black mats that you can buy to put under your keyboard and mouse and it takes the place of your mouse pad. I loved it and wanted to get one, but none of the ones available were the right size, so i would have to cut it down, after paying $30+ for it. I decided to go to the fabric store and buy some vinyl and custom fit it to the shape of the desk. It took about ten minutes and turned out very nice. The vinyl has this thin rubberish layer on the back, so I just layed it down and it sits pretty sturdy. Total cost = $12.
