Camping with george
Went camping last night up Farmington canyon. We hopped on our dirt bikes with our gear on our back at my house. There is a dirt trail about 2 blocks away that we thought connected to Farmington canyon. Turns out it doesn't. We got to the end of the trail and it turned into asphault. We kept riding to see if it would turn into dirt again. Then we saw the turn off that we wanted, but it was blocked off to ohv's and there was a cop parked right there so we kept riding. We stopped ahead for a minute to figure out what we wanted to do. We looked at Google maps and found a trail that might work and it was down the road from the cop. So we went to try it but the cop had pulled someone over right below the new trail that we found. And the new trail said no ohvs. So we decided we had a five minute gap before that cop would be free. We drove down main street in Farmington then took the turn off for Farmington canyon and cruised up. Made it to our campsite without problems and without rain. But right when we turned our bikes off it started raining. Luckily it only rained for about five minutes. Then we were able to get a fire started and cook our tin foil dinners. Alli went to the store for me and I told her to get a new York strip steak. She got a fresh cut $17 steak haha. So I enjoyed my dinner. Then we had my dad bring a trailer and pick us up at the bottom of Farmington canyon today. Fun trip.
